Dane Heptner

Dane Heptner is a Board-Certified Civil Trial attorney who handles a variety of personal injury matters with a focus on litigation and trial work. Board Certification in Civil Trial Law is a distinction awarded to less than 1 percent of attorneys in Florida, earning Dane the reputation as an “expert” in the field.

Born and raised in Odessa, Florida, Dane graduated from the University of Florida College of Law school as its Trial Team President before returning to Tampa Bay to stand up for injury victims. Dane first honed his skills at Clearwater firm, where he returned multiple million-dollar verdicts before joining Salter Healy Rivera & Heptner in 2020. He continues to represent plaintiffs in injury and wrongful death matters statewide and has been a driving force behind multiple million-dollar judgments and settlements.

Dane has worked with Warren Law Firm for years and successfully handled the firm’s auto accident and premises liability cases.

Dane’s commitment to the practice of law has been recognized by his peers, who previously elected him to serve as one of two Sixth Circuit representatives to the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division’s governing body. He also previously served as the President of the Clearwater Bar Young Lawyers Division from 2018 – 19 and has most recently been elected as the Civil Trial Section Chair for his local Bar Association.
